What is Hot Pilates?

Bonfire Hot Pilates combines Pilates principles with high intensity interval training. It is performed in a room heated to approximately 30°C and 40% humidity.

Yes! Our hot Pilates classes combine the principles of Pilates with high-intensity interval training. The class is performed in a heated room of about 30 degrees, and around 40 per cent humidity. You can expect a great workout that includes a series of high-intensity exercises that will strengthen and tone your entire body.

We recommend that you come to your hot Pilates class well hydrated, so try to remember to drink plenty of water throughout the day. You will sweat a lot during the class, so be sure to bring some water along with you. We recommend that you don’t eat too much before the class, as a full stomach could cause some discomfort during the workout.

Yes! Although you can expect to work hard during the class, we are sure that you will find it to be lots of fun. The movements of the high intensity exercises will leave you feeling invigorated and you can expect to feel a boost of energy as you enjoy the workout and tone and strengthen your body.

Wear comfortable, light workout gear and avoid accessories including mobile phones, watches, bangles, sunglasses, belts and hats. Please note that lockable lockers are provided for your belongings.

Come to class around 15 minutes early to check in and set up. Ensure you’re well hydrated throughout the day and we recommend not having too much to eat before your class. Please note, there are no late entries into class once it has started so be sure to arrive ahead of time!

No worries! We have mats and towels available for hire and purchase in the studios.

It is not a requirement to be physically fit for Hot Pilates, but if you have any health issues we recommend informing the teacher upon arrival.
