We’ve been sharing a few different teas in the studios lately, and here’s one that I’ve been making up at our Browns Plains Studio. So many of you asked for the make-up, so here it is for you to give a go at home for yourselves. Try the smaller local fruit shops or markets for the fresh turmeric. Powdered just doesn’t work the same.

Ingredients

1 slice of lemon 3mm wide (cut into pieces)

About 2 cm piece of fresh ginger (chopped)

About 2 cm piece of fresh turmeric (chopped)

1 dessertspoon of our amazing honey from our honey man

Infuse with Freshly boiled filtered water

Method

Place all the above ingredients into the infuser section of the teapot.

Fill the pot with near boiling water and allow to infuse for at least half an hour before drinking.

The depth of colour will vary, depending on your turmeric. Do allow it to sit though or it just won’t have the flavours.

This tea is exactly what you need to help keep you healthy during these cooler months, and when it warms up again, make up and enjoy it chilled.

Enjoy ☺ Shaz
