2 tbsp. cacao
2 tbsp. coconut oil
1 tbsp. pure maple syrup
2 or 3 tbsp. shredded coconut
Pop your bananas into the fridge for a little while so they’re nice and cold. Even the night before would be good.
In a small bowl simply place your cacao, coconut oil and maple syrup, mixing through well so there are no lumps of cacao. Then add the shredded coconut, stir that through, and set it aside.
Peel your bananas and cut a little wedge out along the length, gently lifting out the strip in the middle, leaving a little groove to then place the chocolate mixture. Spoon the choc mixture along the banana, slice into small or larger chunks, depending who you’re serving it to and how messy you want to get while eating it.
This can be made a couple of hours ahead for a snack, a kid’s party, or afternoon or morning tea. Just cover it and place in the fridge for when you’re ready to eat.
Super Easy! Super Tasty! And a great energy booster!
